About the Stroke Hero Awards
The American Stroke Association honors people who strive to overcome stroke.
The 2021 Stroke Hero Awards are currently accepting nominations through Jan. 31.
The Stroke Hero Awards are awarded in six categories to individuals and groups making an outstanding effort to educate, inspire and raise awareness about stroke locally or nationally.
Award Categories
The community submits nominations for five award categories, and public voting determines the Voters’ Choice Hero winner. To be eligible, the nominee must be a U.S. resident.
Survivor Hero
